Software that Doesn’t Run on Linux

No Linux Version

• Affinity - Neither the current version owned by Canva nor the old versions, Affinity 1 or Affinity 2. In fact, there is a general lack of good image editing software that runs natively on Linux. There is always Gimp, but I hate Gimp. It looks like there is a project in order to get Affinity to run using Wine though, so I need to check that out.
• Scrivener - I need to experiment to see if I can get it to run on Wine. Relevant links: 1 2

Linux Version Sucks

• TickTick - Doesn’t support global shortcuts or desktop widgets. Normally I wouldn’t care, but I’ve gotten into the habit of using desktop shortcuts to quickly add todos, and I like the pomodoro timer in TickTick as a desktop widget.
